MICROENTERPRISES
Microenterprises are characterized as small-scale businesses that require minimal initial capital and are typically owned by individuals with disabilities. A microenterprise can sell a product that a person makes or offer a service that the person delivers. These enterprises are gaining more and more recognition and are funded under the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) as a viable and fulfilling pathway to employment.
Microenterprises not only allow you to decide what you work at, it also allows you to decide when you work and who assists you with your work. Most people have supports for the things they find challenging with their businesses, and Microenterprises are no different.
When you are the boss you can focus on what you are good at whilst you work with others who support you with the things that you find more challenging.
